Is there a minimum opening balance to open a Market Savings program? Does it have a minimum or maximum balance requirement?

To open a Save Market Savings program our minimum opening balance is $1,000 for the 1-year term. Following your initial deposit, you can deposit in increments of $100. The maximum per-deposit amount is currently $250,000, but there is no limit to how many deposits you make. The investments Save makes on your behalf aren't attached to your FDIC-insured deposit3 with Webster Bank N.A., Member FDIC, so your deposit is secured and will not fluctuate based on market performance.

FDIC insurance coverage is limited to $250,000 per qualified customer account per banking institution. You can find out more at www.fdic.gov/deposit/deposits.
