Why am I being prompted to take selfies during my document upload?

Modified on Thu, 12 Oct, 2023 at 11:24 AM

Our partner, Berbix, requests that you take photos of yourself during the document upload process to ensure you are a real person and that someone has not stolen your identity.

Identity fraud is a real problem that can happen to anyone. We want to ensure that you are able to complete the identity verification process.

By asking you to take a few photos, we can ensure that it's a human who is completing the verification process and not an imposter with a photo.

Taking selfies is a part of Save’s automated identity verification process. If you do not wish to take photos of yourself via Berbix in the identity verification process, please reach out to Save Customer Support at 1-844-940-Save® (7283) or by emailing us at [email protected].

We will compare the photos you submit against the identification document uploaded. For more information, please refer to Berbix's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
